90.1 KSAK Music and More from Mt. San Antonio College
Music and More from Mt. San Antonio College

90.1 KSAK broadcasts the Mountie home football games.  The work starts hours before the game.  Remote equipment must be set up and phone/program lines have to be established.  Produced and written elements for the pre-game show are reviewed and rehearsed.  Here's a look at the work and fun involved to get a game on the air.

Studio-Stadium Coordinators Deziret Ritsch and JoElla Washington help set up the remote equipment.

A view from the press box at Hilmer Lodge Stadium at Mt. SAC.

Color announcer Tristan Olk practices for his glamor shot when he gets that big netwrok deal.

When the Mounties played the Palomar Comets, KSAK student broadcasters (including Play-by-Play Announcer Farron Morris) took the time to pose with announcers from "Comet Radio."

Stadium Announcer Adam Gonzales and Stadium Spotter Doug Pitcher survey the field from the announcers booth at the top of the press box.

Adam gets an urgent call from the President of the N.C.A.A.  (Or, perhaps he's just asking his girlfreind to bring him a pizza.)

A nice shot of the on-air announcers and coordinators just before kickoff.
